[dropcap size=small]Y[/dropcap]ou’ve had it made when you casually splash a cool $30 million or so on a fleet of cars to ferry high rollers around your casino. Stephen Hung, joint chairman of The 13 Holdings, set a record for the single largest order of Rolls-Royces in 2014 by ordering 30 bespoke Phantoms for the group’s Louis XIII casino in Macau. They were recently delivered to much fanfare.

Of the 30 extended wheelbase Phantoms (which are the priciest configuration, naturally), two received additional treatment in the form of gold particles mixed into the paint, a diamond encrusted RR badge and a gold version. The clock within was designed in collaboration with master jeweller Graff.

The order dwarfs the previous record of 10 Rolls-Royces for another casino in Macau. Hung was unabashed on why he spared no expense on this one: “Macau is rapidly evolving into the luxury capital of the world and we are honoured to have the opportunity to add to Macau’s many distinctions, the world’s largest fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms, including the two most luxurious vehicles Rolls-Royce has ever built.”
