ICON, Singapore’s premier Chinese luxury lifestyle magazine, celebrated its 10th anniversary on April 15 with a glitzy ball at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore. Over 400 guests from Singapore’s high society attended the gala dinner.

The ladies were the stars of the night as they sashayed down a 30m-long red carpet to the ballroom. To help them look immaculate, beauty specialists were on hand at the Cle de Peau Beaute booth for quick touch ups during the pre-dinner cocktails. Luxury fragrance expert M. Micallef was also present to help guests match scents to their personalities.

All guests received a limited-edition 10th-anniversary issue of ICON, with the magazine cover autographed by the featured celebrity, Ni Ni. This issue came in a leather-bound jacket designed by bespoke leather goods company Bynd Artisan. To top it off, guests could personalise the leather jacket with their initials on-site.

Other highlights included ICON’s 20 Best Dressed – awarded to ladies whose outfits best matched the red-carpet theme of glitz and glamour; a performance by guest singer Nathan Hartono, and one of the largest Spring/Summer 2015 fashion showcases – the Max Mara Elegante collection in Singapore.

ICON Ball 2015 was supported by ION Orchard, Hong Seh Motors – official distributor of Maserati in Singapore, M. Micallef by Prestige Products, Max Mara, Girard Perregaux by The Hour Glass and Cle De Peau Beaute.

Dennis Pua, Managing Director of SPH Magazines, said: “We are extremely grateful for the loyal support ICON has gained over the last decade from both readers and advertisers.”
