ICON, the leading Chinese luxury lifestyle magazine published by SPH Magazines for today’s affluent and bilingual women, celebrated its 11th anniversary at Shangri-la Hotel Singapore, Island Ballroom. In line with the whimsical theme of the ICON ball, guests were transported to a magical fairytale – with surprising décor features.

The night was well-attended by over 300 corporate elites and A-listers from Singapore’s high society, guests were invited to dress in the dress of their dreams. The event was organised by SPH Magazines, with support from sponsors namely Bentley by Wearnes Automotive, Damiani, Hibiki by Beam Suntory and The History of Whoo.

Guests had the exclusivity to be the first to preview Damiani’s new Romanov high jewellery collection that was just launched last month (March 2016) at Baselworld. Twenty ladies pulled all the stops dressing to the theme, and were crowned Best Dressed 2016.

Specially this year, ICON partnered socialite and photographer enthusiast Rosalynn Tay who was given an-all-access pass to capture moments during the ball – as seen through her lens.  Her photos are available on iconsingapore.com.

The ICON ball is held annually to mark each successful year since the magazine was established, together with a yearly special April anniversary edition.
