To celebrate its 30th anniversary, non-profit organisation Bizlink Centre recently held a charity dinner at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. Graced by guest of honour, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, and Member of Parliament for Marine Parade GRC Seah Kian Peng, the fundraising event donated proceeds to Bizlink’s Philanthropic Workfare Fund, which supports the operating cost of Bizlink and the needs of its beneficiaries.

The fund aims to keep the socially disadvantaged in employment through its sheltered employment initiative and seven social enterprises. Bizlink also commemorated the occasion with the launch of a new book titled Brave Hearts, featuring autobiographies of 30 persons with disabilities.
