Having performed Onegin to a sold-out audience in Singapore in 2014, Stuttgart Ballet returned to Singapore for a rousing performance of Romeo and Juliet at the Esplanade from 12 to 14 October 2017. Presented by the Esplanade and jointly sponsored by TCC (The Connoisseur Concerto) and Robert Timms, the eye-opening affair was a continuation of TCC and Robert Timms’ corporate social responsibility programme in support of arts and culture in Singapore. An Opening Gala Reception was held at The Esplanade Foyer on the debut night, right before the show. Gracing the occasion were distinguished guests, including ambassadors and consulars from Italy, Vietnam, China, Brazil and Switzerland, STB Chairman, NAC CEO, presidents of arts schools and key leaders of German community in Singapore.
