The key connection between Lima London and Peru? Chef Virgilio Martinez – he helms Central Restaurant in Lima, ranked fifth on this year’s The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list – who is one of the co-founders. The tour covers food market and orchard visits; dining at top-ranking restaurants such as Maido Restaurant in Lima, which serves Peruvian-Japanese fusion by Lima-born chef Mitsuharu Tsumura; and pisco tasting at the oldest working distillery in the Americas Hacienda La Caravedo.
