What to expect at the Wine & Whisky Week 2017, April 19 to 30 at Suntec City

Masterclasses and plenty of sampling in annual bonanza.

The third edition of Wine & Whisky Week (WWW) is around the corner again. Organised by 1855 The Bottle Shop, the festival is young yet successful, and it’s not hard to see why. A free-to-taste offer on over a hundred labels, combined with accessible price points, make a great starting point for those early in their foray into wine or whisky appreciation.

The 2017 edition will bring 500 labels to Suntec City East Wing; of these, over 100 will be available to sample from 11am-10pm on all days but April 19 (11am – 5pm). The organisers have sussed out some of the more exciting labels:

  • Bouchard P&F Beaune 1er Cru Les Gräves Vignes de l'Enfant Jesus

Bouchard Pere Et Fils Beaune Greves Vigne De L'Enfant Jesus 2012

    Country/Region: France (Burgundy)
    Awards/Ratings:
    o Wine Advocate: 91+ pts
    o Wine Spectator: 93 pts

    Key Facts:
o Flagship wine of one of the oldest Burgundian wine estates (founded in 1731)

For those interested in furthering their exposure, a there are a total of eight masterclasses priced $38/$48 which will be held in the nearby Suntec Tower 4. (We recommend the Highland Park-focused whisky session, 23 April at 4pm.) Class size is limited to 20, so don’t hesitate.
