Rare wine auction at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel April 17

Lafite, Pétrus, Dufort Vivens up for bidding.

Looking to augment your wine collection? Winefield’s Auctioneers Asia will hold its 14th Singapore auction at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel on Apr 17. The catalogue this year includes Margaux, du Tertre, Brane-Cantenac and Lafite Rothschild from various years.

Based in Singapore and The Netherlands, Winefield’s Auctioneers Asia has been a frontrunner in auction sales locally since 2009. Its catalogues detail a wide array of fine wines in nearly 500 lots. Previously procured vintages include the 1945 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, sold at $4,000 for two, and the 1999 Chateau Giscours from Margaux, sold at $750 for 12 in its original wooden casing.

Chateau Lafite Rothschild from various years will be amongst the many available wines at the auction.

The event will be held at Lyrebird and Swallow room from 2pm to 7pm. Pre-auction tasting from 1pm to 2pm will also be available, held concurrently with a masterclass by the producer of an ex-domaine allocation from Burgundy. For more information, visit www.winefields.com.
