Jewellery designers are better known for the pieces they create, but in the case of Jane Seymour, a ring was designed especially to celebrate her multi-faceted talents. The actress is in Singapore to star in The Vortex, a Noel Coward play about an ageing socialite having an affair with a younger man, to the detriment of her troubled son.

Before she treads the floorboards this week, however, she’s at Ce La Vi Restaurant and Skybar with the cast to check out the unparalleled view of Singapore. The event is hosted by World of Diamonds Group.

A jewellery designer herself, Seymour shows off her Open Hearts by Jane Seymour bracelet, a motif that resembles a swan but is really two unfinished hearts joined at the tip to remind  her to be open to relationships and new experiences. On her finger is The Jane Seymour, a 2.08 carat cushion-cut blue diamond and platinum ring created for the award-winning actress by World of Diamonds Group.

Its elegance, like its hue to her dress, is a perfect reflection of her grace and professionalism. Seymour is all smiles throughout the photoshoot at the restaurant, but we’ll see her in drama mode soon enough. The Vortex in on at Jubilee Hall, Raffles Hotel until May 14.
