CANVAS Singapore is an upcoming lifestyle venue where art will converge with entertainment and nightlife.  A joint collaboration between nightlife spot Home Club and Bed Concepts, artists currently lined up include the likes of Alvin Tan, co-founder of local creative collective PHUNK, and photographer Russel Wong, the first Singaporean photographer to break into the Hollywood industry. Tan will be presenting a specially commissioned ceiling installation that consists of equilateral reflective triangles forming a chandelier, while Wong will present more than 20 photos from his body of work over the years.  Two of his landscape photographs will make use of the projection capabilities available at CANVAS Singapore. “The launch of CANVAS Singapore is really to showcase the flexibility that will be made available for artists to exhibit in. From installations and murals to short films and photography, we can demonstrate how much of a blank canvas the venue can be,” explains Mahen Nathan, co-owner of CANVAS Singapore. All of the art that will be showcased at CANVAS Singapore will be curated by Razi Razak, Head of Curation at CANVAS Singapore and founder of the Rock Star Collective.

CANVAS Singapore is located at 20 Upper Circular Road, #B1-01/06 The Riverwalk. It will be open to the public from 30 July onwards.
