The International Wine & Food Society of Singapore (IWFS) held their annual National Day Celebration at The Four Seasons Hotel, Windows East on 8th August 2017. 40 members of the society enjoyed a seven-course dinner paired with seven different vintage wines from the society’s cellar, selected by Vice-president Laurence Low.
The highlight of the night was the Charity Wine Auction, which has been on-going since 2012. 20 bottles of vintage wine, donated by the society’s members, were put up for auction with the charity proceeds donated to The Austism Resource Centre.
IWFS was established in 1965 to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of wines, as well as the virtues of good service and gourmet food. The society provides a platform for their members to share and exchange their passion for enjoying the finer aspects of life.
