From new players to stalwarts, only the very best restaurants in Singapore make it to this
prestigious list carefully selected by The Peak Singapore's Gourmet & Travel magazine.
It's a bumper year. From a shortlist of over 100 nominees cherry-picked by an esteemed panel comes our longest-ever list of winners at 43 restaurants. And trust us, we haven’t let standards slide. After all, an external jury comprising ambassadors and business leaders visited the places incognito with us to shape this list, and we can get only more discerning through the years.
So what’s changed? For one thing, the finest establishments are upping their ante – and we as diners are already enjoying the added attention to detail, from silver cloches and table-side service with flair to a greater emphasis on presentation. The increasing competitiveness of our F&B scene is also pushing old stalwarts and new entrants alike to stay on top of their game.
Making a debut on our list are 21 restaurants, including many new openings in the National Gallery such as Odette, National Kitchen by Violet Oon and Aura. But old is still gold – and we continue to celebrate institutions that have graced our list for the past seven years, without fail, such as the evergreen Les Amis, Saint Pierre, Jaan and Cherry Garden.
Beyond independent restaurants, we are also recognising the efforts put in by hotels to deliver memorable dining experiences – especially through their buffet restaurants. To this end, three brand new categories have been added: Best All-Day Dining, Best Afternoon Tea and Best Champagne Brunch.
