Food from the Heart Charity Golf

Food from the Heart (FTTH) held its 2018 edition of the Charity Golf Tournament on Aug 31 at the Singapore Island Country Club. The event raised more than $100,000, with proceeds going towards funding FTTH’s six core programmes, including Community Food Pack (which distributes food packs and bread rations to the needy) and Toys from the Heart (which collates toys from the public and distributes them to children from low-income families).

Established in 2003 by Singapore-based Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer, FTTH has been serving the community for the past 15 years. As one of Singapore’s foremost food charity, FTTH distributed $5.52 million worth of food to more than 35,500 beneficiaries in 2017.
