On Aug 8, the International Wine & Food Society of Singapore (IWFS) hosted their 7th National Day dinner and charity wine auction at The Grand Hyatt Singapore. Members of the society donated wines for the auction, with proceeds raised going towards adopted charity Food from the Heart. During the course of the evening, guests were treated to a five-course wine pairing dinner, featuring wines such as the Chateau Haut Brion 1999 and Croft Vintage Port 1982.
The IWFS was established in 1965 to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of wines, as well as the virtues of good service and gourmet food. The society provides a platform for their members to share and exchange their passion for enjoying the finer aspects of life.
