SCCA Black Tie 2018

On Nov 2, the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) showed its progressive colours at its annual gala at Capella Singapore. The evening saw the launch of the association’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Pledge for the legal services sector.

The D&I pledge promotes the acceptance of differences – where they be cultural, socio-economic or gender-based – and has seen the SCCA work with groups like Lean In, a global women’s network; OnePeople.SG, a race relations charity; SG Enable, a charity championing workplace access to those with special abilities; Dignity Kitchen, a hawker service that feeds, among others, the elderly; and InterAlia, a Singapore LGBT+ lawyers network.
