With the Marine Dame collection, Breguet dedicates its high-end watchmaking expertise to modern-day female explorers of all stripes.
There are several variations, but uniting most of the Marine Dames are unique mother-of-pearl dials with a dynamic wave pattern the brand calls “Marea”.
In the rose and white gold versions, adorned with 50 brilliant-cut diamonds on their bezels, the motif on their light-blue or opaline dials (depending on the version) is engraved with a guilloche technique unique to Breguet that provides a 3-D effect. The steel versions showcase dials in either natural opaline mother-of-pearl or marbled, dark blue lacquer, which respectively represent the shimmering reflection of sunlight or starlight on the ocean waves.
Designed to fit even the slimmest wrists, Marine Dame watches are svelte – just 33.8mm in diameter and powered by a self-winding movement just 3.41mm thick. The rotor in all versions of the Marine Dame, visible through the open caseback, is embellished with mother-of-pearl that matches the colour of its dial.
