Mention bao and most would call to mind a pillow-soft steamed bun sauced up with sweet char siew or linyung (sweet lotus bean paste). Not so at the Bao Bar in new restaurant Full of Luck Club at Holland Village though. The modern Cantonese dining concept is helmed by the team from award-winning Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant in Sheraton Towers, and features a spin on the classic bao by serving it open-face or slider-style. Fun flavours like salted egg yolk prawn and braised pork belly complete the tasty bites.
