[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap] good meal for a good cause is an opportunity not to be missed. Modern Australian restaurant Cheek by Jowl will be doing their part to help flood and landslide victims in Sri Lanka through a fundraiser lunch on Jun 19. Head chef Rishi Naleendra, who was formerly from Sri Lanka, and his team will be serving a Sri Lankan menu with short eats (their version of tapas) and four to five main dishes to share. All proceeds of the $80++ meal will go to the Foundation of Goodness, a non-profit non-government organization registered in both Sri Lanka and USA to bridge the gap between the urban and rural sectors of Sri Lanka. Further donations on the day itself are welcome. To reserve, call Cheek by Jowl at 6221-1911, email info@cheekbyjowl.com.sg or book online via Chope.
