Changi Airport Singapore has once again been crowned the Best Airport In The World for the seventh year running. Practically a national icon, Changi Airport is set to sit comfortably on the ranking boards again when Jewel Changi Airport Singapore opens to the public on 17 April 2019. The massive 10-storey mixed-use development cost an eye-watering $1.7 billion to build and features unusual attractions such as the Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at 40-metres high, a five-storey indoor garden dubbed Forest Valley, and Bouncing Net, a 250-metre-wide trampoline.
With so much to see and do, it’s only a matter of time before tummies will begin rumbling. And with over 111 restaurants, eateries, and cafes available at Jewel Changi, one can eliminate those hunger pangs in a jiffy. Below, food and beverage options Singaporeans and travellers can look forward to.
Burger & Lobster
Superbly popular among Singaporean travellers at their branches in London and all over the globe, Burger & Lobster is the place to be whether you’re weak for seafood, or just a lover of good ol’ burgers. Seeing as fans of the chain rave endlessly about the Original Lobster Roll, B&L Burger and Black Bean Burger, we’d recommend making a beeline for them. Don’t forget to leave a little wiggle room for sharing plates featuring freshly shucked oysters, lobster croquettes and chilled lobster claws.

A&W
It’s been 16 long years since the last A&W restaurant left our shores, but soon its first comeback outlet will make its appearance at Jewel. While their signature Coney Dogs and A&W Root Beer floats are deserving of all the hype, we’re particularly pumped for the arrival of specially curated items from A&W stores around the globe. Japan’s A&W Cream Cheese and Indonesia’s Golden Aroma Chicken, anyone?
