Last-Porsche-911-Speedster-991-Heritage-Design

Porsche and auction house RM Sotheby’s have joined hands to aid in Covid-19 relief efforts.

Open for online bidding is a special Porsche: the last “991”-generation 911 Porsche ever to roll off the serial production line. The winning bidder will also take delivery of a special-edition Porsche Design chronograph wristwatch, visit the ultra-exclusive Weissach facility (Porsche’s development centre in Germany), and enjoy other exclusive experiences.

Proceeds, excluding taxes and fees, will be donated by Porsche Cars North America to United Way Worldwide’s Covid-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund. Bidding closes April 22.

The “991” Porsche is the seventh-generation of the 911 Speedster, and was finished in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in December. What’s more, the Porsche 911 Speedster “Heritage Design” painted GT Silver Metallic being auctioned has never been registered, showing only 20 delivery miles on the odometer.

The chronograph that accompanies the winning bid at this online-only special auction has a leather strap that’s made from the same brown leather found inside the car. The winding rotor also matches the wheels.
