STATEMENT IN GOLD
Danish furniture maker Republic of Fritz Hansen celebrates the 60th anniversary of its iconic Egg, Swan and Drop chairs by launching limited editions of the seats featuring 23-karat gold- coated steel legs. Only 1,958 pieces each of the Egg and Swan are available – commemorating the year the designs were created by architect Arne Jacobsen. The Drop, meanwhile, will be sold until the end of the year. The chairs come in premium finishes: a softer, natural leather in pink for the Egg and Swan, and wool for the Drop.
